The parents of Charlie Gard have welcomed a new baby boy to the family, one day after his brother would have turned four.

Chris Gard and Connie Yates have yet to name the newborn, who arrived on Wednesday night – just over three years after Charlie died from a rare genetic condition. 

They said he was the ‘spitting image’ of his late big brother and weighed 8lb and 6oz, Mail Online reports

The Butler County Health Department hosted their annual Baby Jubilee on August 5.

August is National Breastfeeding Month and the Health Department recognized that by celebrating their fifth annual “Baby Jubilee” which is an infant health fair for expectant parents.

According to Butler County Health Department Director Jamie Downs, they normally have agencies come in and set up booths for the parents to visit. However, due to pandemic COVID-19, the Health Department decided to get creative and host a “Baby Jubilee in a Bag.”

Parents hoped baby Kobe would play basketball


TANAUAN – He was heralded in the Philippines as the country’s youngest COVID-19 survivor, a baby who’d become infected with and conquered the coronavirus during his first 16 days of life.

To Ronnel Manjares and Trisha May Noche, he was Kobe Christ, their second child.

Noche wanted her son to grow up playing basketball, just like his father. The couple named him after American basketball legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash early this year.

“I added Christ after he was born on Easter Sunday,” Manjares said.
